About the role

  • The Control Panel Technician is responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning industrial control panels and electrical systems.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, production, and field service teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Nice to have

  • Install components including PLCs, relays, contactors, VFDs, motor starters, terminal blocks, power supplies, and control devices.
  • Conduct electrical continuity, insulation resistance, and functional testing.
  • Verify wiring against electrical schematics and drawings.
  • Travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to review, update, and assist with electrical drawings and panel layouts.
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures.
  • Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma, Industrial Electrician license, Electrical Technician diploma, or equivalent experience.
