Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Software Engineer on HAX, you'll lead design and delivery of high-impact features end to end, from partnering with Product Management and Quality Engineering, mentoring engineers around you, to shaping technical direction in design reviews and architectural decisions.

Requirements

  • Ideal candidates must be comfortable working on a complicated codebase with high levels of abstraction

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong frontend engineering skills with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (for example, React, Ember, Vue, or Angular)
  • Deep working knowledge of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and common design patterns, with a track record of applying them to real architectural decisions (Experience with C#,.NET Core is a plus)
  • Contributed comfortably across both modern and legacy framework codebases
  • Fluency with the day-to-day toolchain of a modern engineer - version control (Git workflows), CI/CD, package managers, structured data formats (JSON, YAML), and observability tooling
  • Experience designing reliable, scalable systems with attention to performance, resiliency, and maintainability

Skills

  • Experience working with enterprise-scale microservices architecture
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools effectively while maintaining code quality and safety
  • Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure and containerized deployments (Docker + Kubernetes)
  • Exposure to legacy-to-modern framework migrations
  • Working knowledge of application security fundamentals (auth, authorization, input validation, secrets handling)
  • New employees can expect to be given real responsibility for bringing new technologies to the marketplace.

Compensation

  • $112,650 - <span
  • The base salary range of this opportunity is listed below and is determined within a range based on factors including qualifications, location and experience.
  • The base salary offered is part of a total compensation package.
