About the role

- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides table service by taking and delivering food and beverage orders.
- Responsible for handling cash for the products sold and for the total cash-out value of items sold on each shift.
Responsibilities
- Responsible to and under the general supervision of the Bartender and Operations Manager, the Server is responsible for carrying out the procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service and room cleanliness.
Requirements
- Must have passed 'Proserve' training within the first two weeks of employment.
- Experience operating an Interac terminal and processing charge card transactions.
- Ability to deal with staff, students and the general public in a professional, friendly and diplomatic manner.
- Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations Manager.
- Minimum Alberta Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Personal cleanliness and dress in accordance with Students' Union policy.
