The Dance Team serves as an important component of the game-day experience, promoting school spirit and supporting Queens College Athletics at home contests and campus events.

Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, previous experience coaching a collegiate dance team, and experience working with student-athletes in a higher education environment.
Candidates should possess an understanding of NCAA Division II athletics and demonstrate the ability to effectively mentor and support student participants.

CPR, First Aid, and AED certification are preferred, or candidates must be willing to obtain such certifications upon hire.
Plan and conduct regular practices throughout the academic year.
Choreograph and teach routines for performances at home athletic contests and select campus events.
Coordinate and supervise team participation at home basketball games and other assigned athletic events.
Promote school spirit and fan engagement through performances and appearances.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all team members during practices, performances, and travel, if applicable.
Work collaboratively with Athletics staff to coordinate game-day schedules, special events, and promotional activities.
Assist with the selection, inventory, and maintenance of team uniforms and equipment.
