About the role

  • Assist with subcontractor operations, including tracking hours and travel for compliance, ensuring proper documentation, coordinating contract and funding modifications, validating invoices, and handling PO management in Costpoint.
  • Assist with financial reporting, data analysis, and audit preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Support accounting processes such as recording expense reports and vendor payments in Deltek Costpoint.
  • Support journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure compliance with GAAP, FAR, and DCAA.
  • Executive & Operational Support
  • Support the SVP with daily financial and administrative priorities including scheduling, travel, organizing and maintaining department files.
  • Advanced Strategic Insight (ASI) is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support the Senior VP of Corporate Affairs and the organization's day-to-day financial operations.
  • This role combines hands-on accounting with executive-level support in a fast-paced, compliance-driven government contracting environment.

Requirements

  • Deltek Costpoint softwar e experience required
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, FAR, and DCAA requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • The ideal candidate has experience with Deltek's Costpoint software and a strong understanding of government accounting practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred
  • Executive administrative support experience
  • Government contract / project accounting
  • Audit support experience (DCAA or external audits)
