  • This position is based out of our Tucson, Arizona office.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain lab protocols and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Coordinate with PMs and PIs to develop hours estimates for inclusion in proposals.
  • Keep apprised of research literature regarding new methodologies and implement them when necessary or practical.
  • Maintain compliance regarding industry standards in archaeological curation with corresponding agencies.
  • Performs evaluations and makes recommendations for significance, effect, and treatment.
  • Develops work plans, research designs and mitigation proposals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • SEARCH's staff are industry leaders and subject matter experts who support commercial and government clients worldwide.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be eligible to be employed in the United States.
  • Graduate degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in Cultural Resource Management
  • 5 years of supervisory experience encompassing time in field, laboratory, and office.
  • Knowledge of methods pertaining to the recovery, treatment, identification, and qualitative, quantitative, and statistical analysis of cultural materials.

Nice to have

  • Preferred: 15 years relevant experience.
