About the role
- As an Academic Events Manager, you'll own the end-to-end execution of a high-volume events program that puts Base44 in front of students, builders, and communities across the United States. You'll leverage your expertise in event coordination and field operations to deliver measurable results and build Base44's presence at hackathons, on local campuses, at
- conferences, in faculty circles, and in partnership educational nonprofits. You are someone who thrives in an ownership role, planning and executing world class experiences for users both in person and remotely.
Responsibilities
- As an Academic Events Manager, you'll own the end-to-end execution of a high-volume events program that puts Base44 in front of students, builders, and communities across the United States.
- Book and manage weekly events per quarter across universities, VC accelerators, NGOs, and community spaces across the US
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, community, and enterprise teams to align on event goals and ensure strong partner handoffs
- Build and maintain relationships with university partners, event hosts, and community organizers
- Proven ability to manage a high volume of activities, building from 0 to 1
Requirements
- You are someone who thrives in an ownership role, planning and executing world class experiences for users both in person and remotely.
- 3-5 years of experience in events, field marketing, or a related role.
- Proficiency with AI tools in your day to day workflow
