About the role

  • Conducting scientific research, including: Maintaining bacterial glycerol stocks and managing common bacterial supplies (e.g., bacterial media, glycerol stocks, etc.).
  • Working independently on defined experiments, primarily in microbiology and molecular biology and reporting findings to the PI.
  • Managing multiple priorities to meet defined deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Keeping the laboratory organized and maintaining all protocols in shared Google Documents.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs.

  • Proficient in the use of computers, including software applications, databases, spreadsheets, and word processing.
