About the role

  • The Control Room Operator is responsible for monitoring all facility utility equipment, responding to alarms, and performing routine inspections and basic maintenance.
  • You will cover operator shifts as needed and play a key role in maintaining the integrity of critical systems.
  • Primary Responsibilities: Monitor alarms and respond to issues for utility equipment, aseptic room conditions, incubators, refrigerators, and freezers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PMs) and basic mechanical/electrical repairs.
  • Support routine water sampling and testing activities.
  • Support contractors and project engineers as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to respond quickly to emergencies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
  • Experience with mechanical tools (calipers, etc.).
  • Ability to work with hazardous chemicals safely.
  • Cover shifts for other operators including weekends and holidays as required.
