About the role
- The Control Room Operator is responsible for monitoring all facility utility equipment, responding to alarms, and performing routine inspections and basic maintenance.
- You will cover operator shifts as needed and play a key role in maintaining the integrity of critical systems.
- Primary Responsibilities: Monitor alarms and respond to issues for utility equipment, aseptic room conditions, incubators, refrigerators, and freezers.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PMs) and basic mechanical/electrical repairs.
- Support routine water sampling and testing activities.
- Support contractors and project engineers as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to respond quickly to emergencies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
- Experience with mechanical tools (calipers, etc.).
- Ability to work with hazardous chemicals safely.
- Cover shifts for other operators including weekends and holidays as required.
