About the role

  • Director, Nautical Safety & Marine Operations Strategy by maintaining the safety operations of the fleet in terms of Inspection, Audit and Compliance, as well as managing the Incident reporting system and investigation process of those incidents

Responsibilities

  • Organize and oversee schedules for (support internal) external ISM/ISPS/MLC/ISO audit programs and regulatory inspections.
  • Provide operational support for the Company's Incident Response Plan, maintaining the notification system and Command Center readiness.
  • Maintain the Muster List organization fleet-wide to reflect regulatory changes.

Requirements

  • DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 10 years of experience in cruise ship operations or an equivalent maritime field.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, and ISO quality systems.
  • Managerial experience with the ability to coordinate complex fleet activities.
