About the role

  • Priorities change, things break, new equipment shows up, and spaces evolve.
  • We're looking for someone practical, reliable, and detail-oriented who takes pride in keeping things working and safe.
  • You'll work across our facilities in Texas and California, including office, lab, manufacturing, and light industrial, owning maintenance, repairs, construction, equipment setup, and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Own and coordinate construction and install projects from ideation to delivery and operation (furniture, shelving, process piping, electrical/mechanical work, cabling, etc.)
  • Perform and coordinate day-to-day facilities maintenance and repairs across office, lab, and production areas
  • Troubleshoot and fix issues with building systems, equipment, fixtures, and infrastructure
  • Support lab and R&D teams with equipment moves, setups, and facility needs
  • Have owned general maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and building systems

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in managing large-scale construction projects, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector that were ground-up and/or retrofit projects
  • Experience with preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting
  • Experience with working in an active lab or light industrial environment
  • Ability to travel (up to 50%) to various work sites
  • BS degree in one of the following: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering

Nice to have

  • Experience in semiconductor, hardware, lab, or manufacturing environments
  • Experience supporting fast-growing or startup teams
  • Experience working with HVAC, MEP systems, or process equipment
