About the role

- We're looking for someone practical, reliable, and detail-oriented who takes pride in keeping things working and safe.
- You'll work across our facilities in Texas and California, including office, lab, manufacturing, and light industrial, owning maintenance, repairs, construction, equipment setup, and vendor coordination.
Responsibilities
- Own and coordinate construction and install projects from ideation to delivery and operation (furniture, shelving, process piping, electrical/mechanical work, cabling, etc.)
- Perform and coordinate day-to-day facilities maintenance and repairs across office, lab, and production areas
- Troubleshoot and fix issues with building systems, equipment, fixtures, and infrastructure
- Support lab and R&D teams with equipment moves, setups, and facility needs
- Have owned general maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and building systems
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in managing large-scale construction projects, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector that were ground-up and/or retrofit projects
- Experience with preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Experience with working in an active lab or light industrial environment
- Ability to travel (up to 50%) to various work sites
- BS degree in one of the following: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering
Nice to have
- Experience in semiconductor, hardware, lab, or manufacturing environments
- Experience supporting fast-growing or startup teams
- Experience working with HVAC, MEP systems, or process equipment
