About the role

  • This role sits at the intersection of deep Salesforce platform expertise and broader systems thinking.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, AI coding practices and governor limit strategies.
  • Oversee how Salesforce connects into the broader enterprise landscape - marketing automation, ERP, HR, enrichment tools - using API-led connectivity, event-driven patterns and middleware.

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery operations.
  • Design integrations.
  • Drive innovation.
  • Lead design reviews and technical RFCs before major builds, and run code reviews focused on teaching and raising the team's technical ceiling.
  • Support mid-to-senior engineers on solution trade-offs, integration impact, scalability and observability (this role may or may not have direct reports).

Nice to have

  • Application Architect, System Architect, AI Associate/Specialist or Integration Architecture

Skills

  • Lead release management, sandbox strategy and DevOps/CI-CD pipelines.
