About the role

  • THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD INDEFINITE TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
  • This vacancy is to gather applications that may or may not result in a referral or selection.
  • This is an Title 32 INDEFINITE excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard.

Requirements

  • Experience in supervisory, staff or technical work which included study, analysis or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of managerial or administrative policies, practices and procedures.
  • Experience preparing written communications and oral presentations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of, and skill in analytical thinking and evaluative methods force integration, readiness, force structure and doctrinal programs.
  • Knowledge of organizational structure, mission objectives, functions and procedures to participate in and/or recommend changes in work operations.
  • Incumbent must be able to support decision for any proposed changes in procedures.
  • Experience in briefing a variety of audiences.
  • Skill in compiling readily available data from prescribed sources, including the ability to recognize and correct obvious discrepancies and data omissions.
  • It is applicant's responsibility to acquire a compatible MOS/AFSC within 1 year of appointment.
  • Coordinate with your unit's training representative to determine whether or not you can qualify for a specific MOS/AFSC and/or receive training within the 1 year timeframe before accepting the position.
  • Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement.

Compensation

  • $85k-$110k
