- This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment and can operate as both strategist and executor.
- The ideal candidate brings deep US employment law expertise with meaningful international experience, a comfort level with ambiguity and rapid change, and a practical, business-oriented approach to legal risk.
- Experience in the defense technology sector, with government-contracted employers is highly valued, as is international employment law experience.

Requirements
- 8-12+ years of employment law experience, with a strong mix of law firm and in-house experience
- Deep expertise in US federal and multi-state employment law
- Track record of drafting and implementing employment policies, agreements, and frameworks
- Experience managing outside counsel across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience conducting or overseeing workplace investigations, including safety incidents
- Strong business judgment with the ability to assess risk practically and communicate clearly to non-legal stakeholders
- Ability to work in office up to 5 days per week, ability to travel across the U.S. and Europe as needed
- You thrive in an environment where the priority list changes regularly and you're just as comfortable deprioritizing yesterday's ask as you are executing on today's.

Compensation
- The current targeted base salary for this position ranges from $280-310K base, plus equity and a potential bonus.
