About the role
- Under general supervision, the Manufacturing Test Technician is responsible for operating, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing precision electro-mechanical and electro-optical systems.
- This role focuses on ensuring assembled units meet performance and quality specifications through detailed test procedures, diagnostics, and system validation.
- The Manufacturing Technician plays a critical role in maintaining product reliability by identifying issues and restoring functionality in complex devices.
Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation to support testing and troubleshooting activities
- Maintain strict adherence to ESD, safety, and handling procedures for sensitive components
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process or product issues and recommending solutions
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- High attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Nice to have
- Operate and test precision electro-mechanical and optical systems to verify performance against specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues to restore product functionality
- Analyze test results and identify root causes of failures or performance deviations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree in a technical field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in a technical, test, or electronics-related role
- Hands-on experience using diagnostic equipment such as digital multimeters and/or oscilloscopes
- Experience working with electro-mechanical systems
