About the role

  • This is a key leadership opportunity for an experienced construction professional with strong expertise in civil infrastructure and field operations.
  • As Superintendent, you will be responsible for leading and executing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • You will play a critical role in driving project success by coordinating field teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders while maintaining a strong focus on safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • You will oversee site operations across a range of civil construction projects, including underground utilities, earthworks, and road building.
  • This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage crews, solve problems in real time, and deliver high-quality results in fast-paced environments.

Requirements

  • Participate in project planning, estimating support, and pre-construction activities as required.
  • Minimum 6+ years of leadership experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on field operations.
  • Strong understanding of various soil conditions and construction environments.
  • Experience coordinating multiple crews, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of provincial safety regulations and construction best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt in fast-paced environments.
  • Technical diploma or degree in engineering or a related field is considered an asset.
