Responsibilities

  • Acting as a trusted partner to teams and managers, advising them on communication approaches, messaging, and the most effective channels;
  • Ensuring a smooth and consistent flow of information among teams, managers, and external partners, with a constant focus on clarity and relevance;
  • Developing measurement tools and tracking communication and event metrics (participation rates, satisfaction, engagement, reach, etc.), analyzing results, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies and tools to promote internal activities and event-related initiatives.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on how to define and position key issues, then implement targeted internal communication tactics to bring those recommendations to life.
  • Create and write a variety of communications (announcements, SharePoint intranet articles, Teams messages, internal newsletters, speeches, FAQs, videos, short features, manager toolkits, etc.) aligned with communication objectives.
  • Coordinate content development, review, and distribution; collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies when needed.

Skills

  • University degree in a relevant field (Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of eight years of experience in internal communications, including significant experience managing employee-focused events.
  • Recognized for strong project management, planning, and performance measurement capabilities.
  • Flexibility, autonomy, and comfort working in ambiguous environments with changing priorities and multiple complex projects.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in French, along with a functional command of English.
  • Organize and showcase corporate events and initiatives that strengthen culture and employee connections.
  • Act as a GIRO culture ambassador through a human-centered and inclusive approach.
  • Assess the effectiveness and impact of internal events and provide recommendations for improvement.
