About the role
- We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Manual Welder to join our team.
- You will be responsible for performing high-quality MIG and/or TIG welding on steel and stainless steel components.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG operations on various metal components, ensuring all welds meet structural and aesthetic specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and maintain a clean, organized workstation
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in MIG and/or TIG welding, specifically working with steel and/or stainless steel in a production environment
- Proficiency in identifying metal types, gauges, and various hardware components
- Must be able to stand for long periods and be capable of lifting up to 80 pounds regularly
- A 10-panel drug screen (including marijuana) and pre-employment background check are required.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read complex blueprints, and a commitment to maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Nice to have
- Current welding certification (AWS or equivalent) is highly preferred
