About the role
- Reporting to the Investigations Manager, the Private Investigator, Surveillance will be responsible for conducting thorough and detailed covert surveillance investigations both by vehicle and/or on foot.
Responsibilities
- Maintain vehicle and equipment in good working conditions, suitable for work and functions.
Requirements
- Experience working in a client-focused environment.
- Experience in law enforcement is an asset.
- Knowledge of all levels of the Canadian court system, criminal and civil code in Canada, insurance law, and privacy legislation is an asset.
- A strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially with Word and Excel.
- An ability to work under pressure to meet demanding timelines while maintaining focus on the task at hand.
- Conduct investigations in a manner that makes strategic sense and that are coordinated with the client's intent, seeking guidance from management as required.
- Obtain information or intelligence in a legal, ethical, and confidential manner as required.
- Attend court or legal proceedings as required.
