About the role
- The Food Service Worker at Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital assists in the preparation of patient meals ensuring compliance to therapeutic diet orders, patient safety modifications, and proper patient identification.
- Records patient meal information as assigned.
- Participates as a member of the Nutrition Service team working in the dish room, performing cleaning procedures, and organizing and putting away department inventory and supply.

Requirements
- Assists with food preparation as assigned including operating food production equipment as required to complete tasks.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- ServSafe Certification
- Prior work experience in food services
Skills
- Exposures (Rarely): Bloodborne pathogens, such as blood, bodily fluids, or tissues.
- Radiation in settings where medical imaging procedures are performed.
- Various chemicals and medications are used in healthcare settings.
- Job tasks may involve handling cleaning products, disinfectants, and other substances.
- Infectious diseases due to contact with patients in areas that may have contagious illnesses.
