About the role

  • THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
  • PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, MAY be authorized.
  • Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard.

Requirements

  • Must have a TOP SECRET with SCI and current SAP access is highly desired prior to appointment. "Please do not upload the actual clearance if you have it, instead provide a memo certifying you have the required clearance.
  • May be required to work overtime.
  • May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty (i.e. evenings, weekends, holidays) 5.
  • This Position is deployable, must be willing to deploy.
  • May be required to carry a cellular phone.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing, using presentation and report formats.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow directions, to read, understand, and retain a variety of instructions, regulations, and procedures.
  • Learned ability to assess the surrounding environment to recognize immediate risk levels.
  • GS-13 must have at least one year experience at the GS-12 level in the normal line of progression through federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
  • Experience in managing and supervising work functions and discipline requirements.

Compensation

  • $106k-$138k
