Responsibilities
- Develop customer segmentation, positioning, messaging, and value frameworks aligned to key technical and business decision-makers, including CIOs, CDOs, Enterprise Architects, Database Administrators, and Data Engineers.
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Alliances teams to align product roadmap priorities with market opportunities, customer demand, and revenue objectives.
- Drive product launches from strategy through execution, including platform releases, AI capabilities, and solution enhancements, while establishing success metrics tied to pipeline generation, adoption, and ARR impact.
- Create and maintain messaging frameworks that communicate measurable outcomes such as accelerated cloud modernization, reduced total cost of ownership, improved AI readiness, faster time-to-value, and reduced operational risk.
- Develop and maintain high-impact sales enablement assets, including battlecards, competitive positioning, pitch decks, demo narratives, ROI tools, customer presentations, and executive messaging.
- Partner directly with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Alliances teams on strategic enterprise opportunities to improve deal velocity, competitive differentiation, and win rates.
- Deliver actionable market intelligence and customer insights that influence product strategy, roadmap decisions, and go-to-market execution.
- Represent Striim through analyst briefings, webinars, conferences, customer advisory boards, cloud partner events, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and technical subject matter experts to develop thought leadership content that advances Striim's market position and category leadership.
- Striim, (pronounced "stream" with two i's for integration and intelligence), is a unified data integration and streaming platform that connects clouds, data, and applications with unprecedented speed and simplicity to deliver the right data at the right time.
Requirements
- 8-12 years of experience in B2B software product marketing, with a minimum of 3 years in a Senior Manager, Director, or equivalent leadership role.
- Proven experience marketing enterprise software solutions within data infrastructure, data integration, data streaming, analytics, cloud platforms, developer tools, AI/ML, or related technology categories.
- Strong understanding of enterprise buying processes and the ability to develop messaging that resonates with both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger Sale, or comparable consultative selling frameworks.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with Change Data Capture (CDC), real-time data streaming, event-driven architectures, streaming analytics, or the Apache Kafka ecosystem.
- Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms including Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Spanner, Microsoft Fabric, or comparable technologies.
- Experience in analyst relations, including engagements with Gartner, Forrester, IDC, or similar industry analyst organizations.
- Background spanning Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or direct customer-facing commercial roles.
- Passion for emerging technologies and a strong curiosity about the evolving intersection of real-time data, AI, analytics, and enterprise modernization.
Compensation
- $225,000 - 235,000 USD on an annualized basis.
