About the role
- DESRI is seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to join its team as a senior permitting manager.

Responsibilities
- You'll lead and consult on permitting matters across DESRI's development portfolio, including providing expert environmental support; ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations; and supporting due diligence efforts related to environmental permitting, siting, and approvals.
- You'll collaborate with and advise the team on a wide array of environmental topics.
- You'll also help drive initiatives around environmental assessments (including Section 7 and Section 106 consultations), local discretionary permits, and state siting approvals.

Requirements
- A bachelor's degree, at least five years of experience in environmental consulting or permitting, and an impressive record of academic or professional achievement are required.

Nice to have
- Experience in consulting and renewable energy is preferred.
- A degree in environmental studies, biology, or a related field is preferred.
Compensation
- The expected annual base salary for this position is $120,000 to $145,000.
