About the role

Responsible for managing and performing all activities necessary for the processing of Meridian payrolls for US business units using Workday payroll software.
Must show initiative and be a self-starter, detail oriented and organized.

Manage the payroll process end-to-end and submit bi-weekly payroll, multi-state payroll, garnishments, and taxes.
Maintain and update employee payroll information in Workday and ADP software (i.e. direct deposits, federal, state and local taxes).
Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
Provide training and support to employees on payroll related items as needed.
Ability to read, understand and follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines.Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality requirements.

Must be able to work hours outside the normal workday to support department needs (evenings, weekends, or holidays).
Must be able to prioritize and balance workloads and meet strict critical deadlines and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Computer proficiency at an intermediate level (MS Office).

Maintain ownership and administration of payroll systems, including Workday and other payroll-related software, ensuring system accuracy, data integrity, updates, and effective integration with HR and benefits platforms.
Proper and timely entry of all payroll inputs (i.e. commissions, bonuses, overtime, benefits, and various fringe benefits).
Manage change request process for data file for file transfer from the payroll system to the benefits system, as needed.
Ensure that all W-2s add on amounts are properly processed (auto, legal allowances, stock option income, etc.).
