About the role
- The CT technologist acquires data and reformats it into images needed for diagnosis and for the performance of interventional and therapeutic procedures.
- The CT technologist integrates scientific knowledge about patient conditions, technical skills, and information obtained through patient interaction to result in diagnostic information.
- A CT technologist exercises independent professional and ethical judgment.
Responsibilities
- The CT technologist assesses and monitors patients, and takes appropriate action in emergency situations to maintain quality patient care.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Advanced training and certification in CT required.

- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology either hospital based or college degree program.
- Experience/certification/internship in CT scan is preferred, however cross-training will be provided at the discretion of the Director/Medical Director of Imaging Services.
