About the role
- This role is responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient day-to-day technology services for staff, Council, and municipal facilities.
Responsibilities
- Providing front-line support for computer hardware, software, mobile devices, printers, and network connectivity.
- Assisting with the technical delivery of Council meetings, committee meetings, training sessions, and special events, including audio-visual and live-streaming support.
- Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience providing IT support and maintaining business applications and systems.
Requirements
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues while escalating complex matters as required.
- Qualified applicants who are offered and accept the position may be required to complete a satisfactory pre-employment background check.
Compensation
- The District of Sparwood offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:
