About the role

Key Responsibilities Customer and Commercial Leadership Serve as the primary commercial contact for General Motors and other OEM customers. Build strong relationships and act as a trusted partner across all program phases.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships and act as a trusted partner across all program phases.
  • Account Growth and Strategy Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support expansion within key accounts.
  • Pricing and Financial Management Manage all commercial aspects of the account including piece price, tooling, and contract negotiations.
  • Drive financial performance improvements across programs.
  • Engineering Change Management Lead commercial discussions for engineering changes and secure appropriate cost recovery or pricing adjustments.
  • Program Launch Support Support new product launches to ensure successful execution, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Additional Strengths Ability to manage multiple programs and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Skills and Expertise Proven experience with OEM purchasing processes, sourcing, and supply chain coordination.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for executive presentations.

  • Market and Business Insights Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer strategies.
  • Provide recommendations on growth opportunities, partnerships, and process improvements.
  • MBA or Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience 5 to 8 years of experience in account management, sales, or program management within a Tier 1 automotive supplier.
