About the role
- This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
- Preference is given to qualified candidates who are members in good standing of the affiliated church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, support, mentor, and evaluate graduate FNP students in a didactic setting.
Requirements
- All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
- All employees are required to abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
- Travel is required to teach the course in person and on campus each week.
- Failure to attach the required documents may result in your application not being considered.
Nice to have
- Master's Degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) focus required.
- Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or PhD preferred.
- The required degree must be completed by the start date.
- Current, unencumbered Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the State of Utah, with current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (e.g., through AANP or ANCC).
