Requirements
- 15 years: Java development experience
- 10 years: SQL database experience
- 8 years: Application sustainment and development supporting large applications in a team environment
- 5 years: Linux experience
- Any work exceeding 40 hours per week must be coordinated and approved in advance by the client.
Nice to have
- The following qualifications are preferred:
- 8 years: Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, especially JIRA
- 8 years: Experience working with Agile methodologies
- 2 years: Experience with State of Texas applications and/or the Texas Department of Public Safety environment
- 2 years: Experience transitioning applications from legacy mainframe environments to Java and SQL environments
- Experience coordinating technical work, mentoring or directing other developers, preparing implementation documentation, and supporting business-continuity processes is also valuable.
