About the role

  • Intelligent software orchestrates advanced robots in a high-density, end-to-end system - reinventing warehouse automation for increased efficiency, speed and flexibility.
  • In this role, you will become the expert on Symbotic's automation technology, including Automated Adapters, Vertical Lifts, and our fleet of robotic vehicles.
  • You'll be responsible for ensuring the ongoing operation and maintenance of automated adapters and their interfaces within the Symbotic structure.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections on systems associated with Automated Storage and Retrieval System of automated robotic vehicles and Automated Adapters/ Lifts.
  • Support and lead continuous operation by adjusting, calibratin g, repairing, replacing or modifying system components.

Requirements

  • Effective communication of production impacting problems and suggested actions, including approximate time required for corrective and emergency maintenance to required team members.
  • Associate degree and/or certification in electronics, automotive, automation, manufacturing or equivalent work experience required.
  • Strong experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) knowledge and troubleshooting.
  • Approximately 75% of time will be spent on a construction site with PPE required (hard hat, safety vest, steel toes, eyeglasses, ear protection, fall protection (e.g., safety harness)
  • You may be required to routinely walk up and down stairs to navigate the automation structure.
  • Must be capable of working in temperatures ranging from 105° to 32° Fahrenheit.
  • Stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours and is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms
  • The employee is routinely required to work at heights of up to 45 feet and within restrictive areas of 24 inches.

Compensation

  • The base range for this position in the posted location is $37.00 - $38.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
