About the role

  • BT&E El Segundo STE engineering is responsible for the development and delivery of test system solutions and Special Test Equipment (STE) engineering products to our satellite system test teams.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain detailed requirements and specifications for various electronic products (bus and RF payload)
  • Develop detailed designs of limited scope
  • Conduct various methods of testing and analysis to support design
  • Gather data for technical performance measures and perform basic analysis
  • Provide basic engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product
  • Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and I/O documentation

Requirements

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
  • A final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
  • Experience working in test engineering with Special Test Equipment (STE)
  • 1+ years of experience conducting verification, test, and/or data analysis
  • 2+ years of experience in the design and/or analysis of electrical systems
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice to have

  • Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
  • Bachelor degree or higher in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering
  • Experience with design, integration and test with special test equipment for flight programs and supporting proposals
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • able to work in collaborative team environment or independently

Compensation

  • $98,600 - $133,400
  • $119,850 - $162,150
  • Summary pay range Associate Level: $98,600 - $133,400
  • Summary pay range Mid-level: $119,850 - $162,150
