About the role
- BT&E El Segundo STE engineering is responsible for the development and delivery of test system solutions and Special Test Equipment (STE) engineering products to our satellite system test teams.

Responsibilities
- Maintain detailed requirements and specifications for various electronic products (bus and RF payload)
- Develop detailed designs of limited scope
- Conduct various methods of testing and analysis to support design
- Gather data for technical performance measures and perform basic analysis
- Provide basic engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product
- Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and I/O documentation
Requirements
- This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
- A final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
- Experience working in test engineering with Special Test Equipment (STE)
- 1+ years of experience conducting verification, test, and/or data analysis
- 2+ years of experience in the design and/or analysis of electrical systems
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Nice to have
- Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
- Bachelor degree or higher in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering
- Experience with design, integration and test with special test equipment for flight programs and supporting proposals
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- able to work in collaborative team environment or independently
