About the role
- BRICK staff LOVE the community they serve.
- Plan and facilitate whole-school and grade-level wellness activities, fitness challenges, and events that encourage physical activity and social-emotional development.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with students and families through consistent communication, school events, and community engagement.
- Provide Tier II and Tier III behavioral and social-emotional supports, including mentoring, restorative practices, behavior plans, and targeted student interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, school leaders, and support staff to strengthen school-wide culture, climate, attendance, and student success initiatives.
- Manage student discipline processes, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with all reporting requirements.
- BRICK is on a mission to support families from pre-cradle-to-career through holistic support, excellent schools, and clear pathways to college and career.

Requirements
- An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and a capacity to remain calm and focused when faced with unexpected challenges
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people
- Proficiency in working with computers, including commonly used software like Google Documents, Google Sheets, and Excel.
- Current authorization to work in the United States - A candidate must have such authorization by his or her first day of employment.
- An unwavering commitment to the academic success and personal development of our students.
- An eagerness to set ambitious, challenging, and tangible goals, and a relentless drive to achieve them
- A commitment to doing whatever it takes to ensure the success of their founding school.
- Willingness to travel to attend professional development sessions or to participate in other learning experiences with BRICK Education Network staff
- Salary, Goals and Employment Period
- Salary Range: Competitive compensation package, Based upon previous experience
Nice to have
- Experience supporting students and families on the East Side of Buffalo is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Master's Degree preferred
- Prior experience working with children strongly preferred

- Employment Period: Eleven/Twelve Months
