About the role
- We are looking for a Senior/Staff level Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems that power our product.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and reliable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services and APIs that are scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to define and build new features.
- Optimize performance and scalability of the backend systems.
- Experience building ecommerce / payment systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend development.
- Strong experience with Go, or similar backend languages.
- Expertise in RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation.
- Extensive experience using AI Agents and AI tools.
