About the role

  • This position is responsible for ensuring a safe, productive, and efficient work environment while driving performance in safety, quality, production, equipment reliability, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate troubleshooting efforts to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Safe Operations Promote a strong safety-first culture.
  • Drive Production Performance Lead shift operations to meet production, quality, and efficiency goals.
  • Conduct shift handoff meetings and support daily operational planning.
  • Support investigations and corrective actions related to quality issues and customer concerns.
  • Develop and Lead a High-Performing Team Coach, mentor, and develop hourly production employees.
  • Support hiring, training, performance management, and employee development.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience working with production metrics, reporting systems, and manufacturing technologies.
  • Participate in emergency response activities and maintain required certifications.

Nice to have

  • Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Manufacturing leadership experience within a heavy industrial nonwoven manufacturing environment, or related continuous-process industries such as textiles, paper, or converting, strongly preferred.
