About the role

  • The Plant Manager has total responsibility for the performance of the plant and quarry locations.
  • Ensure the most safe, efficient, and economical operation of the plant
  • Establish targets and priorities for the plant/quarry to ensure consistent performance around all KPI's (production, maintenance, quality, delivery, and cost)

  • Lead and manage the output of the plant/quarry in a way that maximizes reserves and efficiently utilizes all plant assets

Requirements

  • Must have at least seven to ten years previous leadership experience in a fast-paced mining and/or heavy manufacturing, construction, environments.
  • Solid understanding of cost accounting principles and financial statements, including P&L is required.

Nice to have

  • Ten (10) plus years of leadership experience in an industrial minerals/clay experience.
  • Related Industries having worked in the following or comparable previous roles: Maintenance Manager, Production Manager, Mine/Quarry Manager, and/or Quality Manager

Compensation

  • Responsible for the establishment of objectives at the plant/quarry consistent with Company and Corporate objectives; the development and the implementation of a strategic plan to meet the objectives; and the monthly and annual review of objective results.
