About the role
- Experience Qualifications - 2 years Diagnostic radiology experience.
- Prepares and positions patient for diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Cones and pans well to minimize patient and staff exposure.
Responsibilities
- Maintains scrubbing skills for all equipment and procedures.
- Performs routine maintenance, diagnoses malfunctions, and makes minor repairs on radiologic equipment, arranging for repairs as needed.
- Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
- Documents patient or device complications appropriately.
- Completes forms and maintains records, logs, and reports of work performed.
- Performs office work including, but not limited to, answering phone, filing, obtaining information from computer, and ordering departmental supplies.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be able to transport patients by pushing a cart, wheelchair, or bed.
- Must be able to stand wearing a lead apron during long procedures.
- Required for All Jobs
Nice to have
- 2 years Diagnostic radiology experience.
- Experience in a surgical area.
- Previous operating room and/or interventional radiology experience.
- Subspecialty experience.
Skills
- Demonstrated acceptable knowledge level of all diagnostic radiology procedures. (Required proficiency)
- Registered Technologist
- ARRT Required
- Licensed Radiology Technologist (LRT)
- KSBHA Kansas license required within 60 days of hire.
- Basic Life Support
- BLS Required within 90 days of hire.
Compensation
- Abide by Stormont Vail's Remote Worker Policy and will review and acknowledge the Remote Work Agreement annually.
