Requirements
- interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees and elected officials
- ability to complete assigned projects in a timely manner.
- Master's degree in Library Science from an American Library Association accredited school or in Computer Science with a concentration in System Administration, or a related degree with 10 years of direct experience with a large library ILS.
- 5 years job related experience in public library systems/database administration preferred.

- Salary: $32.26-Min to $40.33 /Hourly

Nice to have
- Trains the library staff and patrons in the use of the ILS and associated vendor training.
- Acts as liaison between the automated database vendor and related vendors with integrated products to the automated database.
- Integrates the ILS and external entities such as book jobbers and the time/access/print management software.
- Responsible for the integrity and security of the ILS.
- Assigns staff security permissions and authority levels to the automated database.
- Adjusts settings in the ILS database to adhere to policy and procedures of Library Administration.
- Assists and supervises other employees with their duties
- assigns work and reviews work when complete.
Compensation
