Responsibilities

  • Design and strategically execute analytical experiments in support of biotherapeutics development, particularly qualification/validation and stability studies.
  • Generate high-quality documentation suitable for publication and regulatory review, including technical documents and analytical test methods.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with rapid analytics, process development, bioassay, and program management teams.
  • Perform peer review of data and reports related to method development, qualification, and validation, as well as characterization and stability study reports.
  • Manage timelines and resources to meet project milestones and proactively advise leadership on program status and technical challenges.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field with 0-3 years experience
  • M.S. with 3-7 years experience
  • B.S. degree with >7 years experience.
  • Strong understanding of protein structure and stability and degradation pathways leading to PTMs.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in scientific software and data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Prism).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • This role is ideal for a scientist with deep expertise in protein analytics, ideally with a background in mass spectrometry and protein structural characterization.

Compensation

  • $84,000-$115,000
