About the role
- Primarily responsibility for receiving and accessioning specimens, handling specimen documentation, and data entry of requisitions.
- They are also responsible for keeping the lab in a clean and orderly condition.
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the same tasks as Senior SP in addition to the following.

Requirements
- Proactively contributes to reaching team goals of cost-effective, high quality patient care services through leadership, technical expertise, and the appropriate utilization of resources.

- EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- 4-5 years of accessioning experience and/or in a lab setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to navigate efficiently through, or have familiarity with, various Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and have proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint).
- Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills
- Excellent teamwork and collaborations skills
- Ability to work independently
