About the role
- As a Wine & Spirits Cashier, you'll be part of a team that helps guests find the perfect pairing for any occasion-from local craft beers to premium wines and specialty spirits.
- You'll work closely with your team leaders to keep the department running smoothly, while providing friendly, knowledgeable service that makes shopping enjoyable and easy.
- Operate the Register: Check out purchases with accuracy and a smile.

- Support the Team: Work alongside associates and leadership to meet department goals and maintain high standards.
- Keep Things Running: Maintain inventory levels, ensure accurate pricing, and keep shelves stocked and organized.
- Ensure Cleanliness: Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and team members.
- Communicate & Collaborate: Work with vendors, managers, and fellow associates to exceed expectations.
- Support the Team: Other duties as assigned.

- To excel as a Wine & Spirits Cashier, you should have: Must be at least 21 years of age in order to sample products sold in the wine and spirits department.
- Must possess the ability to apply on-the-job safety training to recognize and react to possible safety hazards on store premises.
- Also requires proper training and knowledge of the following equipment/procedures: hand jack, baler, forklift, pallet jack, trash compactor, proper lifting techniques, and proper scanning techniques.
