About the role
- We want to meet you before we have the opening.
- This isn't a training program, and there's no fixed seat waiting for you on day one.
- It's a standing bench: we're identifying strong leaders now, so that when a GM seat opens in any of our markets, we already know exactly who to call.
Responsibilities
- Multi-brand platform, local ownership. You'll get the resources, systems, and support of a national platform spanning 20+ affiliate brands, with the autonomy to run your market as if it were your own business.
- Real support to ramp fast. Mentorship from sitting GMs and a structured onboarding into our systems and operating model - built so you're set up to win from day one, not sent in cold.
- Own full P&L and operational performance for your branch - revenue, margin, labor productivity, and customer experience.
- Lead department managers (service, install, sales, dispatch/CSR) and, through them, a team of technicians and support staff.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top field and office talent.
- With the mission to maintain long term relationships with its customers, Champions Group is dedicated to delivering timely, high-quality services across a comprehensive suite of HVAC, plumbing and electrical products.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of field service principles - labor forecasting, dispatching, price/hour estimation - and workforce scheduling.
- Relocation is required, but your specific market is determined during the process - matched to open needs and your fit, not assigned on day one.
Nice to have
- Comfort with CRM/ERP and dispatch platforms
- ServiceTitan experience is a plus.
Compensation
- $200,000 - $225,000 USD
- Competitive compensation aligned to your placement - base salary of 200-225K.
