About the role
- Job Description: The Parking Attendant provides exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner.
- In this key role, the Parking Attendant is responsible for greeting guests, parking and retrieving vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner, providing wheelchair, and way-finding assistance.
- Scope The Valet provides exceptional guest service and parking assistance at all assigned valet locations, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and professional experience for patients, visitors, and caregivers.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a professional, positive, and customer-focused manner.
- Demonstrated ability to follow work instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Ability to operate a variety of vehicle types, including compact cars, SUVs, vans, and trucks.
- Ability to escort guests and travel throughout the hospital campus in a timely manner.
- Accurately complete parking tickets, stubs, logs, and other required documentation.
Nice to have
- Bilingual or multilingual skills.
- Six months of customer service, valet, hospitality, or related experience.
- Seeing, Sitting, Speaking, Hearing / Listening, Lifting, Pulling / Pushing, Standing, Walking, Manual Dexterity.
