About the role
- As a Somerville Truck Shop Supervisor/Shop Foreman, you will be the go-to person for truck repair and maintenance operations.
- You are a hands-on leader with excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills who is dedicated to keeping customers safely on the road with a customer first mentality.
Responsibilities
- Analyze results and implement operational improvements
- Measure and develop department productivity, efficiency, and overall performance
- Assist the Service Manager with developing and maintaining training programs for Service Department staff
- Company social events and team-building activities
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in the transportation industry
- You bring at least 5 years of supervisory or management experience in the transportation industry and strong technical expertise as a 310T Journeyman Truck Technician or Interprovincial Red Seal Technician.
- We also use an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to screen applications against the minimum qualifications for this role.
Nice to have
- Strong experience as a Journeyman Truck Mechanic (Hino experience preferred)
