About the role
- Observe and test operation of electronic, electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and/or mechanical devices in order to evaluate and identify operating problems.
- Delegate or fabricate replacement components with direction from Maintenance Team Leader in order to affect in-house repairs and/or modify machinery and equipment to improve efficiency.
- Dismantle equipment and machinery in order to identify, remove, repair and/or replace damaged or deteriorated components, and reassemble equipment.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, overhaul and maintain electronic, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and/or electro-mechanical machinery and equipment.
- Maintain work areas in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
Requirements
- Maintain maintenance logs and other required documents.
- Working knowledge of electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic concepts and operating safety.
- Knowledge of relay and programmable logic controllers for mechanical equipment.
Skills
- Good oral and written communication skills.
