About the role

  • Ensures their compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Contribute to the quarterly and annual preparation of Management Discussion and Analysis and other sections of the Annual Report.
  • Responsible for the coordination and preparation of key deliverables including executive dashboards, reporting packages, Audit Committee and Board presentations and other regulatory and government reporting deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the point of contact for ad hoc analyses and reporting requests to support management decision-making.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in financial reporting, accounting and/or auditing
  • Strong understanding of IFRS accounting standards and financial reporting process
  • High proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial systems (e.g., PeopleSoft)

Compensation

  • The Specialist, Financial Reporting is responsible for contributing to the preparation and delivery of BDC's financial reporting deliverables on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
