- The Vice President of Flight Operations will also serve as the 14 CFR Part 119.65 Director of Operations (DO) for Breeze Airways.
Requirements
- Have at least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience within the last 6 years in a position that exercised operational control over any operations conducted under 14 CFR part 121 in a large aircraft.
- Have at least 3 years of experience as pilot in command (PIC) under 14 CFR Part 121 or 135 in large aircraft in at least one of the categories of aircraft Breeze Airways uses, as listed in 14 CFR Part 61.5(b)(1).
- In the case of a person becoming Director of Operations for the first time, he or she must have accumulated this experience as pilot in command within the past 6 years.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid U.S. driver's license
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid passport
- Must be able to travel unrestricted to and from the United States
- Must pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Nice to have
- Previous DO Experience
- Previous experience with a part 121 carrier

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a diverse groups of people
- Ability to work autonomously in an entrepreneurial environment
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Work, Excel, Power Point & Teams)
- Demonstrated ability to work with initiative and creativity when managing multiple projects under constant deadline pressure
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
