About the role

Our M&A Tax practice helps clients evaluate risks, structure deals efficiently, and capture value across the deal lifecycle.
Our M&A Tax services include buy-side and sell-side due diligence, domestic and cross-border structuring, modeling of tax attributes, integration planning, bankruptcy and distressed transactions, and other deal-related advisory.
You will be directly responsible for overseeing MD-level professionals, expanding the firm's market presence, and driving client impact.

Lead the firm's M&A Tax function, guiding strategy, execution, and growth.
Oversee and lead due diligence, identifying and quantifying key tax exposures and communicating findings clearly to client executives and deal teams.
Design and implement tax-efficient structures for complex domestic and cross-border transactions.
Collaborate with Riveron's Transaction Services, Tax, Accounting Advisory, Restructuring, and Business Transformation teams to deliver integrated, cross-functional solutions.
Drive revenue growth by cultivating client relationships, originating opportunities, and expanding Riveron's brand in the transaction tax space.
Lead and mentor a team of MDs and senior professionals, ensuring strong execution, team development, and succession planning.
Riveron partners with companies and investors to navigate the complexities of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other transformative transactions.
As a strategic partner, we provide hands-on support through every stage of a transaction, from diligence and structuring through integration and exit.
We focus on practical, commercially driven solutions that mitigate risk, optimize outcomes, and support our clients' growth strategies.
With deep technical knowledge and transactional experience, our team delivers tailored guidance for private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and corporate clients.

15+ years of progressive tax experience with a strong focus on M&A/transactions tax.
Deep relationships with private equity firms and corporate executives, with proven ability to originate and grow client engagements.
Demonstrated track record of managing and mentoring senior professionals.
