Tessera is seeking a skilled Plumber to assemble, install, and repair heating, water, and drainage systems at Naval Base Kitsap, Bangor.

This role involves reading and interpreting building plans, preparing work areas, and ensuring plumbing installations comply with specifications and codes.
Working under supervision, the Plumber will support safe, efficient operations while building hands-on experience in a variety of plumbing tasks.
Clear blockages and maintain drain lines, floor drains, vents, and storm drainage systems.
Support preventive maintenance, inspections, and fire protection system component repairs.
Read and follow technical manuals, schematics, and work plans to perform accurate diagnostics and repairs.
Maintain accurate service records, generate parts requests, and use handheld devices for documentation.

Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.
Operate and maintain plumbing tools and equipment; participate in on-call rotation as required.
Highschool Diploma/GED is required.
Minimum 3 years in Plumbing/ closely related field.
An equivalent combination of education/experience will be considered.
Must have general knowledge of plumbing and be able to use hand tools, power tools and appliances required for the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing fixtures and pipes.
Must be able to follow maintenance instructions, service and diagnose systems, and complete repairs.
Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations preferred.

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 5 0 pounds.
May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
