About the role

This role involves installing new equipment, operating and maintaining both digital and analog devices, and troubleshooting issues to find solutions.
This position typically works under close supervision and guidance.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in compliance with contractual obligations.
Professionally interface with customer agencies to provide support and maintain strong client relationships.
Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware issues.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field.
Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Interpret schematics, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Recommend improvements to circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.
Build cable assemblies and Printed Circuit Board (PCB's) as required.
Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including DOT regulations for safety sensitive roles.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in electronic equipment maintenance and repair or related field.
Associate degree in electronics or related technical field, or equivalent technical school training is preferred.
Proficiency in basic computer operations and common software applications.

Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions using hand tools, test equipment, schematics, and manuals.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
