About the role

  • Job Title Maintenance Supervisor Job Description Vanderlande is responsible for the Service & Maintenance of the Baggage Handling System at the Orlando International Airport.
  • The Shift Leader will be a main responder to emergency situations.
  • They carry out preventive and corrective maintenance at the mechanical level supervising a team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform specified preventive maintenance
  • Perform monthly CM/PM, including inspection, adjustment, cleaning, replacement parts as needed
  • Setup and maintain work schedule to ensure fulfilment of contract deliverables and more.
  • Provide assistance to Manager (if applicable) on daily operations and perform as the manager in his absence.
  • Ensure proper levels of supplies (spare parts, tools and office supplies and personal protective equipment) and manage vendor interactions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 year technical experienced in an industrial environment
  • Working experience with mechanical, electrical and controls (PLC, PC) systems
  • The employee is required to communicate over a radio.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.

Nice to have

  • Minimum of 2 years Material Handling Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year CMMS Experience preferred
